Passion, Responsibility, Creativity, Innovation |

During the last years entrepreneurship became a real highlight of economic discussion. In opposite to management, entrepreneurship symbolizes passion, responsibility, creativity and autonomy of economic action. Today in many universities you can study entrepreneurship within Business Administration, National Economy and Economic Sciences.
But very few institutes are leaded by experienced entrepreneurs, in Germany only one of 50: Götz Werner, owner of the DM-grocery markets, leads the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Karlsruhe (Germany). He launched a remarkable proposal for a guaranteed basic income (Grundeinkommen) instead of financial transfers on social reasons.

In Switzerland the discussion is more advanced and presented on a excellent website: www.grundeinkommen.tv (sorry, German only)

The Chair of Technology and Innovation at the Technical University of Munich has a focus on Open Source and uses Joomla itself: http://www.tim.wi.tum.de/home/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
LMU University Munich: http://www.inno-tec.bwl.uni-muenchen.de/ Focussed on patent pending technologies and technology management. Close to governmental organizations.
Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien: Abteilung für Entrepreneurship und Innovation Benchmark ridden and focussed on surveys. Invites Entrepreneurs for seminars.
Stanford University: Stanford Graduate School of Business Leading Entrepreneurs from Adobe, Google and Apple studied and teach in Stanford – a myth. Best contacts to Venture Capital. By the way: The Stanford University invested in Google before it became a success!
(Massachussetts Institute of Technology /MIT): http://entrepreneurship.mit.edu/ They offer an excellent linklist for entrepreneurial resources in the United States: http://entrepreneurship.mit.edu/services_resources.php Astonishingly weak in research, strong in what they call “Global Strategy”. Sometimes the MIT invests itself. Good for people who want to join IBM, GE or Halliburton. Harvard University: Harvard Business School The “Case Study” was the mother of all Benchmark-Paranoia and still is the major principle in entrepreneurial studies.
